Elements Spine Planning* by Brainlab is now FDA 510(k) cleared. The new software enables clinicians to analyze patient-specific spinopelvic parameters and plan the sagittal alignment of the spine, a key clinical success factor in the treatment of deformity-related and complex spinal conditions.

For adult spine deformity (ASD), proper sagittal alignment is an important part of planning. More broadly, alignment planning is essential across a range of pathologies and plays a key role in patient outcomes for both short-segment and multilevel cases.

AI algorithms can assist with time-consuming routine planning steps while clinicians remain in control. Using a patient-specific spine avatar, clinicians can adjust alignment and see measurements update in real time.

Rod-bending guidance and screw-trajectory visualization help translate the planned alignment into surgical execution. Elements Spine Planning supports patient-specific workflows across alignment, degenerative, trauma and tumor cases.
